Dust and thunderstorms accompanied by widespread rain are likely across the upper and central parts of the country between June 11 and 13, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said on Wednesday.
Islamabad, Rawalpindi, much of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are expected to receive moderate to heavy showers, with isolated heavy falls capable of causing urban flooding in low-lying neighbourhoods.
Commuters and farmers have been advised to plan around the system, while the National Disaster Management Authority has alerted provincial PDMAs and the capital administration to remain on standby.
