Minister of State for Interior Muhammad Talal Chaudhary has said the first phase of the Rs10 billion Park Road infrastructure project in Islamabad will be completed in July 2026.

Briefing a parliamentary committee, the minister said the project, which includes widening, drainage and a flyover at the Kuri Road intersection, was progressing on schedule despite weather-related interruptions earlier in the year.

Park Road links the densely populated suburbs of Bahria Enclave, Bani Gala and Chak Shahzad to the city centre and has long been a bottleneck for commuters.
