Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police have registered a case against a hotel owner and an event organiser for allegedly hosting a late-night party in violation of restrictions imposed by the district administration in the federal capital.

The case was registered at Kohsar Police Station following a complaint by an officer of the magistracy, who said the gathering continued well past the cut-off time for events under the current austerity-driven business-hour orders.

Police said further action against guests and management would be considered after a review of CCTV footage from the premises.
